When can I submit for a permit?

You can submit an application for a permit between 8 AM and 11:30 AM Monday through Thursday.
The Building Inspector is available, and over-the-counter permits may be issued, between 8 AM and 10:30 AM Tuesday and Thursday only. The City accepts check or cash for payment.

When can I speak with an inspector?

Phone and public counter hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM Tuesday and Thursday only.

Who can do the work?

Yourself as owner/builder or a licensed contractor. As an owner/builder, please review these important documents:

DO I NEED A GRADING PERMIT?
DO I NEED AN ENGINEER TO DESIGN MY GRADING PLANS?
DO I NEED A TREE REMOVAL PERMIT?

Can I get a permit through the mail?

No. The building permit must be paid for and signed at the counter. The City accepts check or cash for payment.
